Baby Prescott

I am sure most of you already know that we are having a baby.  If not, SURPRISE!   I had my 12 week check-up on wed and everything looks great.  The neat part is they gave us a DVD of the ultrasound so we can watch it whenever we want.  I think I watch it about 4 times a day!  The baby is sucking its thumb in the beginning.  Its really cute.  My due date is June 2.  We are all very excited especially Dexter.  He made the baby a bracelet at school and already picked out a name...baby Dexter!   ha ha!  So far everything has been pretty easy besides being tired.  I have only been nausea's a few times and have had some food issue, and lately I have been feeling faint.  (mostly when I do the dishes)  Thats an easy fix!  Oh yes, and poor Brian I think he would say that a little is an understatement but I have been a little irritable.  Im sure it will be over soon.  Here are a few pictures.  I will get more soon.  I wish I could download the ultrasound video but so far it wont let me.  Maybe Toby can help me at Thanksgiving??!!

We had a great time in California visiting Dolly, Jason, and Jaxon.  We went to Disneyland, Legoland, Long Beach Aquarium, Natural History Museum, the fun zone, and of course the beach!

Dexter's First Day Of Kindergarten

Yesterday Dexter had his first day of Kindergarten.  He started the day off with his "first day of school" cereal that I let him pick out.  He chose fruity bunnies!  He was excited.  At 7:50 he said he was going to go wait in the car.  We told him he could relax for about 10 more minutes.  He decided to wear his new ironman shirt that Gramma Torrey gave him.  Here are some cute pictures of his morning.

making apple butter

These pictures do not do apple butter any justice!  It is sooooo good.  Torrey taught me how to make apple butter on wednesday and yesterday I canned them!  It was fun.  We picked the apples off our tree in our yard, cut and boiled the apples, strained them, added spices and sugar, and cooked them in a crock pot over night.  After that they were ready to be canned.
